Description:
My studio workshops are small scale, one or two day intensive events for up to five people, and being in my own studio they are very hands-on with state-of-the-art equipment and workflows, and complete access to all of my research, archives and library.

Costs:
Studio Workshops  also offer a more intimate and specialised experience compared to my larger scale weekend or residential courses, but without incurring the expense of a 1:1 consultation. The cost per person is $330/day including GST.

Content:
Studio workshops cover intermediate to advanced topics with specialist content and in greater depth than can be covered in my weekend courses.  They are staged in my professional working environment where much of the content involves making images for experimental, analytical and professional outcomes. The content is also continuously adapted to reflect the needs and level of engagement of those attending.  In other words, the experience is that of a working studio more than a class room or lecture theatre. While professional practice provides the foundation for my studio workshops, it is  creativity, material thinking and critical engagement that focuses the outcomes.

In 2016 I am offering eight Studio Workshops covering intermediate to advanced topics:

The Digital Print     Colour Managed Workflows     Camera Craft
Advancing Photoshop    The B&W Digital Image
B&W Film Exposing, Processing and Scanning
Fine Art Reproduction  Print Finishing
Augmented Reality

Schedule:
Studio workshops are timetabled regularly throughout the year, with additional workshops being scheduled as needed. For country or interstate visitors I can schedule two or three studio workshops back to back, either on a weekend or midweek, in order to maximise the experience and return.

Start and finish times are from 9.30am to 5.30pm, or as required.

Location:
The venue is in Heidelberg. Victoria, 20 minutes from Melbourne CBD and 25 minutes from Melbourne Airport. The workshop hours are flexible and can be organised to suit those attending, their travel times, flight arrivals and departures, and other commitments.  There is plenty of accommodation in the area, the closet being a BnB (Austin Rise) 5 minutes walk from the studio.

Enrolments:
Please contact me directly to enrol in a Studio Workshop. Payment is due prior to the commencement of the workshop, and can be made via EFT, cheque, or cash.
