Digital Imaging Consulting and Training
My consulting services include colour and workflow management design, implementation and custom input and output profiling, quantitative analysis, quality control audits, pre-press services, collaborative image editing, fine art printing, and one-on-one tuition and training.
My clients include professional artists, photographers, designers, publishers, writers, printers, photo laboratories, service bureaus, and state and federal government institutions such as the National Gallery of Victoria, National Gallery of Australia, National Museum of Australia, National Library of Australia, Australian War Memorial, National Archives of Australia, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Australian Museum, Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, Melbourne Museum, South Australian Museum, Queensland Museum, CSIRO Atlas of Living Australia, Department of Defence, Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts, Victoria Police Forensic Services Centre, and Australian Universities, Art Schools, TAFE and Independent Tertiary and Secondary Colleges.
Over the years I have had the great privilege of collaborating with other artists, including Virgil Donati since 1985 as photographer, producer and director (video), Peter Kennedy since 2000 as a digital compositor, editor and printer, and from 2005 with Polixeni Papapetrou in the compositing, editing and printing of four bodies of her work (Haunted Country, Games of Consequence, Between Worlds, Dream Keepers), and since 2008 with Bill Henson during his transition from analogue to digital production.
